Castrol 10w50 Motorcycle 4T Synthetic Oil
Kenneth Moonitz
Oil. One of the most controversial topic of all motorcycles. The Oil is the most essential fluid that runs in your machine. It lubricates every motor component on the inside, makes sure gears are not 100% metal on metal when shifting, as well as allowing consistent and adequate cooling for the friction within the crank case. Castrol is the oil that is factory used in Triumphs today. 2007 Triumph Speed Triples originally rolled off the lot with 15w50 weight oil, but nowadays in the United States, this oil weight is next to impossible to come across.
Castrol has 10w50 stock in all their 675/765/1050 machines today, and due to this, I have used 10w50 in my Triumph. We are over 70,000 miles (and counting!) and the bike still feels as smooth as I had her. Pairing oil filters with oil is an additional topic we'll discuss later on. But Castrol is my choice for the Triumph line. We'll keep going and the updates will be posted! 🤙
